June = Heat/Humidity (Plants love it, not me)
Massive zucchini plant. About 7foot circumference. I’ve picked 4 good sized ones so far.
The leaves are about three times the size of my head.
One of the blooms is bigger than my hand.
The French Marigolds are doing very well this year. The seed just gets better every year.
The basil is doing well. I’m letting this one go to seed so this whole area comes up with basil every year.
I think I have nine types of tomatoes planted this year.
JalapeƱo doing well.
Yellow crookneck is doing okay, but not great. I put it in a shadier place this year.
Same issue with the cucumbers this year— in a shadier place = not doing as well.

May Garden
This is the zucchini plant. Just set its first fruit. Leaves are huge.
Flower on top is male; one on the bottom is female attached to the first zucchini.
This is the first female flower on the heirloom yellow crookneck squash.
Love onions. I just need about 500 lbs more.
The yellow crookneck is pretty spectacular when it has all these blooms at the same time.
French marigolds are doing great again this year. First open bloom on May 19.
Pretty little tomato flower off an heirloom yellow pear tomato.
